This is the one trip that does not sail on Poseidon 07. The shared day tour runs on a larger gulet carrying up to 90 guests, so expect a full boat and other passengers — that is what makes it the cheapest way to see Kekova. If you want the boat to yourselves, take a private charter instead.
A set-departure day from Çayağzı, priced per person with lunch included. Tea is served from the moment we leave. First Çamlıca bay, ringed by pine forest, for 40 minutes; then Aquarium bay — the clearest water on this coast — where lunch is served over a full hour at anchor. An hour ashore at Kaleköy for Simena castle, the Lycian sarcophagi and a swim. Then a panoramic pass along the Sunken City, where stopping and swimming are not permitted, 45 minutes at Esmeralda bay, a slow pass at the Pirate Cave, and a last half-hour swim at Karaemlik among the loggerhead turtles. Back alongside at Çayağzı around 17:00. The shared tour is for couples and families. You spend the day aboard with other guests, most of them families and couples, and that is the company we keep it in. There is no music on the shared tour either — with other guests aboard, quiet is the fairer default. Travelling alone or with friends?
